C14 - Aunt Junie's place - June Ford, Absalom's sister, married John Daugherty, and they built a house here. The new road covers the actual home site. The house burned down in the '42 fire, but thankfully was unoccupied at the time. The photo above looks up the canyon and shows where the house was nestled.
